‘APRILS’ LIMITED EDITION RETRO
So looks as if we’ve got some amazing retros here, I will be giving them all a try, has anyone tried them before? If so what are they like?

ROCKETEER
This ballistic was created for christmas last year but was brought back because it was so popular. It doesn’t say the fragrance anywhere but I would say it is quite similar to the comforter but not as sweet. It is a little more sharp and unusual than the comforter but gives a brilliant display. It fizzes and foams blue and after a few minutes ‘should’ start to fizz yellow from the back of the jet packs. That is the only disappointment. I thought that lush had created a bath bomb that whizzed around the bath, spewing out yellow from the back, however the reality is that it doesn’t really work properly. I’ve had it 4 times now and each time it has gone wrong, either one side started fizzing before the other, fizzing at both ends or anything else. To be honest though that is a minor problem as it still manages to spin or sometimes whizz through the bath, leaving it turquoise green, full of lustre and smelling amazing.

So this is the first bath melt I have used and I must say it was amazing! I didn’t really know what to expect but the only way I can describe it is by likening it to Phoenix rising. The outer layer of Phoenix is the same stuff and MMM sinks to the bottom and melts away. It makes the bath water so soft and really makes your skin feeling moisturised. It smells very similar to snow fairy but I prefer this as its not as sweet and sickly. Possibly might try it again but it’s a bit expensive.

SEANIK

This is the second shampoo bar I have tried but didn’t really take the first seriously so was very impressed when using this. It is their solid version of big and although does give some of the same benefits as big, I couldn’t compare them. It does give a little volume to the hair but not as much as big. However the shampoo bars are an amazing idea, to think that one of these is equal to 3 bottles of shampoo. Overall big thumbs up!

Law was passed against animal testing a few years ago but companies still continue to test outside of the EU and can still sell their products in the UK.
